The Catalonia Zaragoza Plaza Hotel is housed in a building from the Modernist period, which was built at the turn of the 20th century. Designed by the architect Julio Bravo, its three facades are beautifully adorned with forged metal and stone floral motifs, which surround the windows and balconies. Zaragoza’s Tourist Board lists the building as a local attraction. The medium sized lobby is appointed in a combination of modern and traditional styles, creating an elegant and welcoming area. The 66 guestrooms feature soothing beige and cream décor, complemented by laminate floors and light wood furniture. All are clean and well maintained, as are the marble en suite bathrooms. Featuring wooden floors and functional pieces of furniture in brown colours, the restaurant offers a comfortable atmosphere in which to enjoy local and international dishes of high quality.
