The hotel is centrally located, very close to the commercial area and the monuments of Zaragoza. It is also 900 metres from the Basilica of the Virgin of the Pillar and La Seo, the Cathedral of the Savior, 1.8 kilometres from the Auditorium and Convention Center, 5 minutes from the train station and 20 minutes from the airport.

The Meliá Zaragoza Hotel is housed in a large, modern, free standing building with a white façade and large entrance. The bright, spacious lobby is handsome appointed with marble pillars, ceiling mirrors and an imposing reception desk on the left-hand side. Also spacious, the 247 guestrooms are decorated in a soothing blend of beige, cream and pale green tones, complemented by striped fabrics and light wood furnishings. All are clean and well maintained, as are the tiled en suite bathrooms. The hotel’s “Bearn” restaurant is a chic but welcoming venue, serving national and international dishes à la carte. There’s also a Lobby Bar, open from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm, and the “Picadillys” Piano Bar, open from 4.00 pm to 1.00 am.
